Financials released still show a problem

The financials released still show you what a world of hurt Baytex is still in. At $40 to $45 oil they barely keep the lights on and at $55 - $60 things improve but to really thrive they need $80 to $100 plus oil.   That's not happening anytime soon so I will never get $5 a share which is what I need to consider selling, moving on to tiger sectors.

I don't agree with your logic and apparently you don't know how to play with oil stocks. BTE doesn't need high price to perform well, it only needs steady reasonable price, which is between 50-60 WTI. All I can say is you gave the wrong evaluation back to 2014.

Thats a very mature statement . I have loaded 100k of Baytex well under a dollar ,part of it in TFSA and RRSP . Not selling for next 5 years till it reaches 5$ after they slowly chip away at debt and in 10 years , i might see 10$ which is still 10X returns in 10 years and a million$ in my account .This is kept locked away and going to buy more if it falls under a $ . Steady WTI at 50/60  for ...more

Your strategy is 100 percent right. Just need to find the right spot to get out in the future.
