I don't know if anyone else caught this statement but Brian Acker said it best today on MarketCall , he wondered why the market is ignoring the energy crisis going on in the world and without a policy change (re:gov't) , we are heading down the same path . Some people are trying to shed light on this capacity issue but MSM would rather mislead with phantom production dreams and historical inventory that will magically appear ........ sometime ......... in the future ....... Just ask Mike McGloom .

I look at WTI trading at $77 while we are still encumbered by Omni-con , what do you think happens to demand (and by association) the price of oil once we get past this ? Western Canada is freezing right now and the arctic air is bleeding into the US , good for nat gas and good for oil . 

The market has been acting like a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs lately but the reassuring thing is , this sector is making money . BTE is generating huge FCF and making great progress on debt repayment  . I'm as impatient as the next guy but once year end and Q1 numbers have been released , today's misfire will be long forgotten . 

The point is , the world will need more O&G very soon but that drilling is not being done . BTE is in the enviable position of being able to develope Clearwater production without affecting debt repayment . FCF will keep increasing with increased unhedged production and reduced debt servicing costs . My gut feeling is this stock is ready to break out

With all the fundamental stuffs to come, BTE should be there ($10 ) even before the end of 2022, sometime  it does take much to explode and  from my experience with CPG  at $21 in the morning to finish at $31  the same day. So just hold your shares and you will be very happy in 2022.
