Question about your comment on no 1H August Releases. https://www.energy.gov/articles/doe-announces-additional-notice-sale-crude-oil-strategic-petroleum-reserve It looks like they are releasing sour crude through to mid-August, but at a much lower rate and no sweeet. These PR's are very convoluted

Volkomm, they are very tricky. You were looking at the "open for bid" news release. After...see below there were only so many bids for that fourth release. Of course Bidem never announces this lol. But again the US government is all about just trying to manipulate the market down. Again maybe someone can correct me but I see NO contract awarded from Aug 1 - Aug 15th...that I could find.
