To answer your questions on whether this is the top or the bottom, here is what some are saying that are "in the business":

Some, like Energy Aspects’ Amrita Sen, have forecast that Brent could hit $100 before the year’s end thanks not just to cuts but the shrinking inventories as well. That was a month ago. Now, Reuters is also reporting that global oil inventories are in decline. It would take a negative GDP growth reading for the U.S. or China to stop this rally.

And news has it that the Permian output will decline this month in what looks like a long, slow, continual descent.  No worries though, by mid September Cobalt and Snow will be posting that due to the Donkeys Tail that looks like a Horse's A$$ pattern that they saw emerging in early August they were both able to make money.

The worst thing about these guys they always talk like they KNOW whats going to happen. Man if I knew what was about to happen I would be a billionaire. But clearly they are not that rich so they do NOT KNOW what is going to happen.  If they toned down there opinions a bit it would be nice. I do find their thoughts interesting!
