‘Gobsmacked’: Biden’s idea to use oil reserve may backfire

Sky News host James Morrow says he was left “gobsmacked” by the Biden administration’s decision to tap into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve ahead of last year's midterms. “That’s the same Strategic Petroleum Reserve that is there – to help keep the US resilient in a time of real national emergency,” he said. “But of course for the Democrats, the thought of losing power is a national emergency.”

Whether it's the Dems down south or the Libs/NDP up here its always about power and short term thinking.  When it finally gets bad enough economically then the populace wakes up, kicks the children out and the adults (Conservatives) get elected to make the hard choices.   Then once the books get realigned the populace elects another spend and tax idiot and the cycle repeats.    ...more
