Golds up , stock not reacting .So much for buy on the rumour sell on the news. Where will it up by days end. Best to wait for direction.

First off they didn't say pleased to announce. Lower production and higher cost was no surprise.. Missed as expected, stock direction was a pretty big indicator that bto would miss on all count. Unlike its peers who have hit or surpassed 52 week highs.. Let's see if the conference call lifts expectations. If not downside is unlimited unless gold explodes beyond $2500. Still a ...more

Ha Ha - I always look for the "pleased to announce" part of the announcement too, and if it isn't there, I am usually not pleased either!!

If gold goes negative or remains flat should hit a new low today. Bto has cash but they are not a bank they are a gold producer. They really have nothing going on until middle of 2025 at best. Who knows if that will work. Conference call may give it a burp up but the trend is down, Can't see what could reverse it. Downside remains unlimited.
