I like the news here - this goes back to what Mark was saying on the last call.  They are able to sell at attractive rates and recycle the capital to buy newer properties.  The $200 million they'll get from the sale of these properties can just go towards firing up against the NCIB. 

I'm increasing my position at Capreit here in addition to ERES which is overlooked as well and is quite undervalued.  Markets are quite negative right now and I think apartment REIT's have had too much of a correction in the last couple of weeks.

Meph, I agree re. the latest transactions. CAR.UN's "portfolio repositioning" seems similar to what BSR REIT (HOM.UN) has been doing for the past couple of years. A much smaller residential REIT than CAR.UN that invests in the USA, they sold off a larger number of their older buildings to acquire a smaller number of newer ones.
