I would say tomorrow May 30 2024 is the ex-div day which means you can buy today and still get the div as settlement moved to 1 day from 2 days.   Buy it today May 29, settle tomorrow May 30, be on the record May 31st for the div. GLTY and all

If you buy before the X-Dividend date you get the dividend payment in June.  If you buy on the X-Dividend date you DO NOT get the dividend payment in June

Thanks Q1 didn't know it had gone to 1 day, I did notice the stock sales now settle in one day and not two at least at CIBC.

wrong the last day is today May 30(you can buy and be at the record for tomorrow May 31 and you will get the dividend. the settlement is just one day(new rule in place)
