Trying to understand why CIBC dropped, including in late trading, while all others were up. I see no specific news and assume CM is deemed less able to benefit from these rules being removed?

I concur Dougip there is no reason for the drop other than profit takers. Their probably thinking that CM';s dividends won't be as good as other Banks but personally I think their wrong. Any increase in the dividend  is going to increase the yield so all banks will be a much more attractive investment. Seems the shorters pick on  C/M for some reason but sooner or later they' ...more
