We don't know who is buying. It could be the market makers who  have an obligation to maintain liquidity in the market. These investment houses are not losing anything by buying the stock. For most of the money has been made from previous trades by buying low and selling high, and now they have to fulfill their mandate to maintain liquidity and post "bid" and "ask' on ...more

Could they hibernate under CMK.H.V, where it all started?

Probably start to trade on venture.....Marret really put the hammer down on Cline when it missed the interest payment!  This was the nail in the coffin, but ultimately the Portpool deal not closing really messed up things for the worse.....if that deal had closed the stock would be trading in the high single to low double digits, and with no liquidity concerns......WHAT A WASTE OF GOOD ASSETS ...more

Hard to tell whether they will be listed on the Venture Exchange. In the state they are right now, it would be useless to list in any exchange because even if they wanted to recapitalize though the Exchanges by issuing stock, they could not. So, there is no point of paying fees to any Exchange if you can't use their services. So there is a logic to the delisting. But now they have to find ...more

Not sure if you guys understand. Companies facing difficulties like Cline can list on the Venture under the "H" designation.   What is NEX? NEX - a unique market niche NEX is a unique and separate board of TSX Venture Exchange. It provides a unique trading forum for listed companies that have fallen below TSX Venture's ongoing listing standards. Going forward, companies that ...more

CMK does not meet any listing requirements for any of the venture designations..You are all missing the point..Its bankrupt.,You need to pay fees to list your shares. There are millions of debt and interest in the hole...No one will give them money...

Does Marrett not have to buy out the shareholders? They certainly can't just delist and walk away with the company.......

I believe your right Specboy2011. Cline in  (Bankrupt). The reports had all the signs, however the blindfolds and blinkers were on from most of the management and shareholders alike! All assets will probably be liquidated now, whats left of the company assests. Stupid BUY!.....Another lesson learnt here.

https://www.stockhouse.com/natural-resources-news/2013/june/14/cline-mining-shares-plunge-on-delisting-announceme.aspx Because they didn't make the interest payment to the bondholders, they will take control of the company. Seems like a pretty dirty move in retrospect with the Marret plan in issuing warrants to the shareholders in January. Thought there was hope how they avoided CCAA, but they ...more
