Fabulous News...Now will MEG move?...
Tonight's news re the tie-in is absolutely fabulous news. The court ruling has placed Canexus in the sweet spot. Now, if MEG truly wants NATO for itself, or just to garner long term profits from this valuable asset, it might just have to pony up to buy this asset or attempt to buy a controlling interest. In view of the bad blood most likely created by these current events, MEG is more likely to bid for the entire NATO asset rather than be in bed with Canexus. Even more likely is a chemical based company buys all of Canexus, then sells off Nato. OR... An oil and gas based company buys all of Canexus, then sells off the chemical assets. Either way, the worst is finally behind us as Canexus investors. Worst case scenario, investors possess a cash flowing machine issuing secure dividends. Best case scenario, Canexus is taken over at a nice premium to current share price. Actually, the worst case scenario above, may ultimately be a better option for shareholders who just want a great yielding vehicle to provide steady long term income at a great rate of return and at a tax preferred basis. Canexus investors, sleep easy tonight, if you need to average down, best to do it first thing in the morning, prior to the upgrades and the stock appreciation. Nawar did his homework, Kherson had a hidden agenda. The facts (and the court) have set the record straight. Now watch, as the vultures circle the company, should be fun.

"Kherson had a hidden agenda"? So tell me what exactly it was? My agenda has been far from being hidden my friend, I want those who are responsible for this mess to be fired. I have stated many times, I believe that the company has great assets, but poor management. Having said that, I am not including Wonnacott in that bag... Kherson

well - i'd like to say I feel vindicated! - I ended up buying 100K shares at $4.55 average cost!! Sometimes you just have to go with your own conviction and forget the noise!

Hi Roscoe - I wasn't aware - i've "ignored" a good number on this site - the ones that remain provide useful information and reports that I don't have access to (btw - thanks to the person who posted the RBC report).

mgmt drop the ball on this nightmare,either sell nato,scrap the div or do both!Preferably droping the div in order to sell nato another day,would suffice for me.

I think we all have a stock in our portfolio that has lost its feathers. Kherson negativity on this stock has been correct, but I think it is time to re-look at the fundamentals of the stock at this level and see if it is worth earnings
