Wrong.  Energy is not just oil. The USA completely dwarfs every country on earth in terms of oil consumption and demand from the US is still rising.  Nobody even comes close to the US, China is a distant second and India is a third of China's consumption, but the fact that you pointed out China and India's demand will increase just validates demand for oil is going to increase

Oil is just a subset of the TOTAL Energy Picture.    I did not say China Dwarfs the USA in Oil Consumption.    If you want to talk about OIL, then China is the Largest Importer, followed by India, South Korea, and then in 4th place USA. Ya, future of OIL SALES is ASIA.     Canada seems only interested in Selling for HUGE discount to the USA....  Only for the USA then to export for Big Money to Asia.   Canadians are morons.   They even justify/make excuses for NEGATIVE oil prices!!!! All just my opinion/view/thinking.

It is the easterners that keep voting in the liberal party who is anti oil, anti pipeline (basically anti west).  Several pipeline and LNG projects were canceled by the liberal party.  Trudeau is super happy importing oil from saudia.  Gotta keep the power and control to quebec and ontario.  Trudeau only reveal his true color in quebec channel
