It varies from company to company ..... for example - 10 days to 2 weeks prior to end of a quarter through to a day or two after the release of financial statements for that quarter . You can do a quick search on Google and a number of companies' insider trading and "blackout period" policies will come up. TSX policy statement : https://www.tsx.com/ebooks/en/timely-disclosure
