Question
I am not a professional investor/stock trader and I've often wondered how the intrinsic value of a company stock like Concordia is known or determined, apart from buying/selling pressure that drives the SP up or down. Other than a regular dividend, how else does a company provide a return to the investor by which the value of its stock would make sense? Or in the end is it all just speculation?

On Oct 21,2014 the stock was 39.97!.Do you think that nothing happens with the company during the 2015? PHM is also in this situation, and has acquisitions during the year and another planned acquisition ,also an important organic grow perspective.

It is far to be a speculation. More than 60% of analyst opinion happens during one year. Just read a little bit about entreprise value by Internet,https://www.investopedia.com/terms/e/enterprisevalue.asp you can find others explanations also. Think about EBITDA
