I think the right price for CXR

bor a buyout is at least 12 X EV/EBITDA.

That would be fromt he calculations that I have done is $86US or $110CAN.

That I would accept.

Any one else with comments?

Notwrong and Lettuce, would you accept that?

hey fdfd12 - I think that you finally hit the nail on the head. There is still a lot of growth from there for Blackstone if they have a long range outlook. Not sure what kind of penalties they would have to pay to Concordia debt holders though. GLTA except shorts who should have gotten out by now.

$110CAN would be fantastic!  You should be on the negotiating team for CXR.

BUT what I think will happen is different. I think with the stock price at $24US before the time of this talk, Blackstone saw an opportunity. They said, "we can make a killing buying this company". They probably thought $40US MAX $45 would do the job. They didn't EVER think of offering $85US or even $65 for a stock trading at $24US. This is why the stock right now is not trading ...more
