No Insider Buying Today

Strategic Review is over and no insider buying.   Why doesn't the CEO buy back those shares that he said were "involuntarily" sold?    And before Lumber says they are in a trading blackout and they can't buy, I called IR, and they said NO TRADING BAN now that strategic review is over!

Still waiting for the massive insider trading we were supposed to see today.

That's a huge warning sign!  As a TA trader, I often overlook a lot of fundamentals because companies can "cook the books".  Not saying this happened here but do research on independent views on adjusted EBITDA and "financial engineering" non-market scholar topics show up all the time. I have a hard time going long here until insiders buy significant shares or ...more

Thanks for checking with IR regarding their quiet period policy. Insider reports are due five days after a trade is made.  We will know definitively later this week if insiders started buying immediately after the strategic review was announced to have been completed. I agree that insider buying after the strategic review was completed would be bullish for the stock.

5 days is the limit Lumber.  The filing date can be the same as the transaction date.  Try again cause I'm not buying!

Hey Lattice, Stop insulting me on a professional level you crock!  The only way you could have had access to information relating to Thompson's trading is if you had access to him, the company, his broker or his banker who made the margin call.  If you did, there is something very fishie on your end!!!

See, that's why I love Latice. A mountain of information, for free! LOL ;-) Sometimes makes minor unitentional mistakes but quite spectacular in accuracy when you consider these bullboards are complete clown shows that get abused ALL THE TIME! A note on TMX: "Data is compiled each trading day after the market close and is generally posted after 6 p.m. ET." Data ...more

Excellent post. I cn only add one thing which is that there is a build in penalty for not following the disclosure rules and that is loss of personal credibility. For a founder, Chair and CEO to be reporting late, is pretty astounding. It makes one wonder how anyone on this planet ever backed the fellow. Doubt he will work again. Pray God not. That's why I'm stuck on this play sideline. It's driving me NUTS! ;-) Online buddy called me "crazy" today. LOL I can't short it because the moment this idiot CEO gets the boot, stock might double. He's just a train wreck. I'm starting to buy the thesis that might have been partially railroaded by "the street" but the carnage is high on this ...more

Who can boot him when he is the Chair. I want a seat at that. I think the train emerges (if) out from private. Too humiliating for the street to publically do it. Doubt you're crazy. Lumber though- just cookoo..............no cocoa puffs. PROtrading wrote: That's why I'm stuck on this play sideline. It's driving me NUTS! ;-) Online buddy called me "crazy" ...more

Lati, The non-Sedi internet portals can only get the information from the legally mandated sites,  being SEDI in Canada.  Why would anyone report to a non-obligatory site before they report on the site that legally requires reporting?!?  Seriously, stop insulting everyone's intelligence.
Comment by PROtrading on Oct 17, 2016 6:21pm
Lumber, you're wrong again. TMX reports out all "insider marker" based transactions before SEDI gets the insider disclosures. You have to pay for the service and they export in CVS format via email, FTP or data feed. Any service, like the institution only paid service from Latice, can take these and make them available and also combine them with official SEDI filings to make the ...more

Holy fcuk dude, are you ok? What exactly are you attempting to refute? There is absolutely  nothing here in need of interpretation. There has been NO insider buying.
Comment by Lumberfeverlong on Oct 17, 2016 7:09pm
Reporting to anything other than SEDI first is complete BS.  Second, we will only know by the end of this week whether insiders started buying immediately following the end of the strategic review.   quote=marxath] Holy fcuk dude, are you ok? [/quote] Insider activity always populates on Canadian Insider and TMX before showing up on Sedi. If it pleases you, we can revisit the debate ( uhhhhhh) a week from now. whaddaya say, chumperlong???

Yeah, again, so much for even playing field between "the street" and the average investors huh?  I think I'll start an investment club or something.  I hear that's a good way to way to get institution qualifications without being a real "institution". Can anyone provide a hand for the little guys here? ;-)  How to get go from little average investor to ...more
