This is what keeps me up at night regarding the banks
I'm thinking banks are going to face some headwinds soon. If DGS stays with it's current focus on financial institutions, can this cause some pain? https://ottawa.ctvnews.ca/ottawa-woman

NAV February 15
~$15.67. We closed with a discount of ~$0.06. We are a solid ~2.72% into payment territory, but this will obviously change on the ex-dividend date. I expect a diivdend announcement before next

RE:DGS holdings off to the races
Diversification working it's magic. If it pays it will be #3 for the year. DGS has served me well to hold and avoid trying to time the market.

DGS holdings off to the races
No doubts now about DGS making the cut for paying. Lifecos are on fire... MFC a big holding now up over 6.7%...IAG doing well and also in the top 6

Brompton updates holdings to JAN 31
But i do see some fatfinger mistakes on the list... so may have wait for them to fix it. But if anything moving WCN up to the top 5 holdings had a positive effect. My spreadsheet for what its worth

RE:RE:RE:Brutal day...
Yep, and one of the reasons why one can never exit the market completely. We just never know how long a market can remain extended... up or down.

~$15.36. Premium on capital shares: ~$0.10. We are now back into payment territory by ~0.80%. FOMO is truly a powerful opioid. The party continues after yesterday's brief intermission.

RE:Brutal day...
It's the biggest selloff since March 2023 and.... it was much needed. Corrections are healthy, recessions and depressions are not. Too much froth was in the system. Let's not rag on the banks

RE:NAV @ 11:27 am
I am sure i dont havre a good handle on BDIV, as the last update to DEC 31 shows holdings that would NOT have pushed up the NAV to $19.04.... so i really do not know what could be in there. Perhaps

~$15.29. My calculations indicate we are still ~0.33% above the threshold. There are shades of green in the portolio, most notably WCN, a large holding in DGS at 3.70%. It would be far too premature

Date may not matter
Selloff bigtime today on surprise inflation numbers from the US. DGS does have some green, but will see if there is a rebound end of day. Most knew that the FEd would NOT be cutting rates anytime soon
