DGS finished the day up @ $15.45 UNIT NAV
Spreadsheet now showing the commons with a NAV of $5.45 before distributions are taken into account. Holdings seem to be bounce back a bit end of the day.

Brompton reports DGS UNIT NAV @ $15.44
So spreadsheet was a few pennies high, but close enough, considering there are stocks not listed in the top 25 that contribute a bit to the NAV calculation.

NAV January 25
~$15.48. Premium on capital shares: ~$0.06. Solid gain since last week of ~$0.29. The equivalent ex-dividend NAV next Tuesday would be ~$15.38.

DGS unit nav in realtime @ $15.41
So checked the BDIV nav today and surprised me by being up more than i had estimated. Overall DGS has gained about 22 cents in the week since the last update.

RE:RE:Brompton announced distributions
Absolutely. That's the rational way to look at split share investments.

RE:Brompton announced distributions
Those missed payments when the markets were low at least help preserve the NAV for distributions today!

Brompton announced distributions
And as we figured DGS is in for a 10 cent distribution. Many times they have just missed on the last fe days for getting far enough above the 15$ THRESHHOLD.

RE:RE:Appears Brompton will announce dist. today at some point
Today's DGS run is likely due to the BOC holding the overnight interest rate at 5% and signaling that rates will hold but the tone has moved to when rates will lower.

RE:Appears Brompton will announce dist. today at some point
Yes, looks good for DGS class A dividend distributions again this month. The eunit nav was above the required 15.10 at the close on Jan 18 closing just barely across the goal line at 5.12.
