Old Mining Stock Certificates

Hello everyone,
Its been a while since I posted. My father passed away recently and he left me shares to two companies:

Maracambeau Mines Limited
Inter-tech Resources Limited

How do I find out what happened to these companies? Were they aquired? Did they go bankrupt?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion is to google and track if another company acquire them or if they went BKR. Hope you can find and salvage something. My sincere condolences for the passing of your father
