The lack of skilled workers and supplies will hinder home building: Dream CEO

Michael Cooper, founder of Dream Unlimited, talks about the federal budget and what it means for the real estate sector. He says he’s not sure where the government plans to get capacity to build all the new homes promised in the budget. He flags there’s a big issue with finding skilled workers in housing right now and it’s also hard to source materials. He says this difficult environment doesn’t look like it’s going to change for a while, which will complicate new housing construction.
