DS NAV rebounds back to about 6$ today
With a continued move up in all the holdings today, DS NAV of the holdings now about 6$. I suspect we see some buying here later in the day, as traders and investors lock in for the distribution

RE:DS NAV to March 24 was 5.45 after dist.
Quadravest updated and NAV jumped to 5.76 , so was very close on my guess. Strange to me that FFN jumps 18% today , and DS up only . 73%... as it appears to me DS holdings are doing as well as FFN'

DS NAV to March 24 was 5.45 after dist.
So after today i have it gaining another 32 cents or so.. and that puts it at 5.77 at days end. So still trading at a discount , but nearly so big. a few more trading sessions until ex divvy date. YES

I do think PIC.a will reduce the payout to .10 quarterly until the NAV jumps back up above a dollar... but there is a chance that they may get to paying the normal .203 quarterly in the future if

ALL 15 DS holdings up again today... big discount
Last trade at 4.77 ,and the NAV today would be around 5.50......traders seem more focused on buying the junk split funds that likely wont pay for months , AND at huge premiums to NAV.. goes against

Thanks mouserman once again for the sound info re: DS. I did manage get pick some up today. Did you have a chance to look at BSO.UN. It's another Brookfield product which pays a 15 cent quarterly

Split funds are dead money... especially those with values under a buck.. Many pundits are predicting 6 months before things return to normal in the markets etc....AND those split fund commons

DS holdings back at levels close to FRI. NAV about 5.10
With the huge jump in the holdings today, the NAV has rebounded back near where it was trading on friday. Some stocks trading above the close friday , some still below. Trading at over a 10% discount

DS NAV at 4.89 to March 23
And with the bid at 4.14 , this is the biggest discount to NAV i have seen from any PAYING income fund. The market is set to open much, much higher today, and i suspect DS NAV will easily climb back

Sellers maybe thought DS wouldnt pay ,..
DS is infact paying , and will pay every month, altho the distribution will drop considerably if the share price stays at these levels on the last 3 trading days of MArch. 2020-03-23 14:00 MT - News

Traders dumping DS ,, not sure why
I think DS still traing below its NAV with the last trade around 4.80... but buyers still jumpin on FTN and FFN ( both of which wont be paying distributions for months) and these two split fund

Well the last hour or 2 of trading moved most of the stocks in DS down. Actually the bottom 3 or 4 did well, but the top 5 , with the exception of CIBC , all went from well into the green to red
