Tricky Valuation

Thanks (all) for the opinions/comments on my entry point question.

I'd like to jump on board, as the Co has some 1/2 decent earnings history, but guesstimating the value of what to pay for the stock is tricky. It's tempting to subtract $7.50 from the previous close, but that's obviously way too simplistic. Might have to do a deep dive on this one, or call on my trusty 'ol coin toss.

I had a quick look at Q3 financials to come up with a guesstimate on fair value for the shares. I'm by no means a financial guy, but here's a shot at it. Net income in Q3 attributable to SFC was $13.5mm. Net income attributable to continuing operations was $9.5mm. So total Q3 net income is $23mm. In percentage terms, 59% SFC and 41% continuing ops.
