Maybe the opinions I read about Syrah Resources are correct. First that they over hype their graphite and vanadium resource and second that they are over priced.

Syrah Resources was the biggest percentage loser on the benchmark, shedding 26 per cent on what was its worst trading day in more than five years. it closed at Australian $3.35 on 10/05/2016

Some might relate it fall to the gold price, but most all of the other graphite companies held their own.

Syrah had done an excellent job of public relations regardless of the value of their resources.  The companies who hyped had bloated share prices.  It's not necessarily a bad thing.  They had happier shareholders, better market caps, and financed with less dilution.  Good on them for that.
