Dec 8 - Investor Conference Dividend announcement usually made @7am on the conference day. Is the current stock price factored in: - a 8-10% increase? - a symbolic 1 cent increase? - no change? - dividend cut? Any call on the break-even dividend amount? That is, no change in stock price at that amount. Above the amount, stock price rises. Below, stock price drops.

My question exactly. Given that guidence was for a 5-8% didvidend increase I would suspect that anything outside that range would be met unfavourably by the market either way and an increase within the range garners a pop in share price.
