What the value of the Non Operated Marcellus Gas Assets?

Chief Oil is selling its Natural Gas Assets in the Marcellus and any buying would like to cleanup the non operated portions of those assets.

With the strength in Natural gas, and the location of the production, this could be a cash windfall for Enerplus and maybe even was a driver for the series of aquisitions in the Bakken.

What kind of cash do you think would land with the sale of about 200 MMcf of production.

I think 1 billion USD would do it.  The Nat Gas rev is on ERF website and around 5-6ish X net for existing income plus additional acreage that can be drilled.  They could buyback $200m more shares and do a special dividend for $2 per share and pay down the term notes.  Or acquire a small operator with excellent synergies similar to the last 2 acquisitions.
