Valuation

Bit of an oversimplification but if Novagold owns 50% of 40M gold ounces (Donlin Creek) = 20M ounces and their market cap is $3B, what are we worth? It does not seem unreasonable to think ESM might be worth $500M if one wants to argue 'jurisictional risk'. If so, that would be 10x current valuation. Just thinking out loud.

My guess is that buying at this price and the price going up 10x would smack of insider trading. Besides, he has made plenty of money 'managing' ESM and has plenty of granted and incentive shares already. What I do wonder is why, if this anywhere near a realistic valuation, he is not actively promoting ESM especially given the money that has been raised thus far. Go to Kitco on any given ...more

i think this should go up slowly before final permits. then we will hear either more dilution or a sellout. for now i made some money from flipping. will monitor this closely
