what was the actual reason?

Was EXRO on the brink of death or did they actually think this was a good deal

opinions appreciated

Simpliciti give your actual thoughts as you have gone silent I wager your "DD" got blindsidedf also

Yes, given how exro missed or delayed on everything in 2023, and continue into 2024, disaster is about to happen.  The projection of coil driver is 1000 units in 2024, UL is not guaranteed to deliver in 2024, who is going to guarantee the 10k units of coil driver in 2025, the leverage policy is not working, no NDA is eager to adopt coil driver, kind of I now knew your stuff, we will decide ...more

This was a good deal. Companies like what exro has to offer but they need complete solutions now, not component's. Our coildriver has already gone through vehicle testing with SEA'S drive system, and the combined entity saves us both a lot of money. It makes a lot of sense to merge with them.

Exro has no problem raising money. The delays are what they are, that doesn't change the benefits this technology has on the EV/energy storage market.

If Sue didn't participate the subscription receipt, the last raise could fail, and barely finished, at 95 cents cad, Sue and exro's credibility are fading. About the technology, it might be good, but not good enough for TSA, linamar, hb4, potentia, VMC and Sea to attract new customers, not good enough for any of the NDA tested to buy the coil driver or the company. According to exro, the ...more

Not defending the co or debating any points I am looking for others views, with that said though an NDA does not work that way it is a testing process

I had a thought the other day. What if Exro was thrown a lifeline by Sea, as Exro was running out of cash? Due to "EV slowdown", EXRO had most NDA's pull out (all are non-binding, no surprise there) and Sea, from a point of slight advantage, having more backing and some pending orders, said okay lets merge and we will share some of the revenue on the books so you could continue ...more

" This doesn't mean that Sea is in a strong position, they are not, they missed most of their targets as well and weren't able to uplist.  2021 SEA  pumped they would have 15000 trucks on the road by 2023 then in Jan 2023 they pumped a deal with 8500  utes to Mevco starting delivery last April It appears that they have shipped a total of 188 drives in the last 3 ...more

I hate the no edit .... `let me fix this .  Its not like they have ANY credibility
Comment by Napcoo on Mar 17, 2024 2:45pm
Sea got or will get binding contracts from Hino or Mack every 15 weeks depending on the sales collected from various dealership, these are sensitive information which I doubt they'll ever publish them, still way better than exro. Revenue is not everything, exro has been doing everything from coil driver, integration, testing, making demo vehicles, mostly free of charge, that's why NDA ...more

My god your clueless! Exro was the one that was publicly traded and could raise cash by going to market. (BTW if they did just raise I would have bought the lows, NOT NOW!) Sea was the one with no cash and wolves at the door. Do some damn research! Take a look at their fin's and dive into who they owe, interest payments and other commitments around their share structure. All that and they ...more

they would have floated that to shareholders already. They have endlessly floated "magic plans" to shareholders  SEA  15000 by 2023 , 8500 utes   and amazingly 188 ...15000...188   hmm Exro  UL certs, Polaris  , 3000 to VMC, Brazil  ( 1 maybe ) boats motorcycles ,snowmabile Aurtomotive OEM oops 5 years oops automotive OEM    ...more

Then why the convertable and ordinary shares?
Comment by jboom70 on Mar 17, 2024 9:25pm
Acutually your right they would have spun that as a positive. Must have broken out those shares to repay original Sea investors. Guess we will see when they are unlocked.
