Gary Haywood - Cameco Expertise & Experience

I'm very impressed with the hire of Gary Haywood. He bring a whole lot of experience in moving and executing PLS to development. I understand that Fission's drill program has now started, so hopefully we will see some new resource numbers this summer.

FISSION URANIUM CORP. ("Fission" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed uranium mining expert, Gary Haywood, P.Eng., as VP Project Development. Mr. Haywood is a professional Mining Engineer with 35 years' experience, including seven years with Cameco as General Manager at the McArthur River and Senior Mine Engineer at the Eagle Point uranium mining operations in Saskatchewan, Canada. He will be responsible for taking the lead role in the next phases of advancement for PLS - Fission's high-grade uranium project – in the Athabasca Basin, Canada.

Mr. Haywood's experience encompasses every aspect of project development and production, with a particular focus on underground mining projects and high-grade uranium mining in the Athabasca Basin. For the past three years Mr Haywood has been providing project management consulting to the mining industry, helping to advance projects towards production, as well as assisting with underground mine engineering expertise and operational readiness planning. He is a skilled team leader and has strong track record of successful project delivery.

@ BigBlue - Scint results are generally close to assay results and they'll be published well before the summer.  As soon as the drill core is examined.  Probably be next month some time. That's why GovernanceQP was whining this morning.  He's anxious to see them.

Greenday possibly one of the main reasons for your inability to invest with success is based on your inability to recognise what could happen over a longer term period.

@ GovernanceQP - Hey Turner.  Do you know why NXE's grade dropped when the cut-off was reported unchanged?  What happened?
Comment by Uraniuman308 on Feb 25, 2021 3:25pm
come on Greenday!  The grade for PLS will likely drop as well when and if FCU ever completes their FS.  JMO

At last a question from you Greenday where something interesting can be discussed. I don't know the specific reason but every stage of defining a resource has assumptions applied and as a delineation process evolves those assumptions are essentailly put to the test. I will wait until reports are lodged then have a look out of curiosity and as a means of developing my own understanding of ...more
