Here is the tender form we send in

Here is a copy of the preprinted form which is showing the number of shares owned per account. It can be completed on the paper forms they mailed me and I mail back or I can go online to my accounts and pull up the offer for each account and fill out instantly and submit as shown below.

So I don't think you need to submit all of your shares, since the form itself states how many shares that account owns. There is always a chance, due to them making this deal so complex and confusing it is undersubscribed and one could potentially sell more than 4% of their shares. However my guess it is oversubscribed and they will buy less than 4% of your shares on a pro rata basis.

( Just F'ing with you on my number of shares owned, it is cut and paste so I can change that number here but not on the actual tender form which has my actual number of shares I own in this account}

I assume doing nothing is the same as officially declining the offer as shown below.

Thanks Kcac1, that looks simple enough. I haven't gotten anything in the mail, and I don't see anything (corporate action) online in my account yet.    If that's all we have to do, and we can do it online, that seems simple enough.   Also, it seems I could be wrong on how Pro-Rate could work.   Nothing in the 50+ pages that was sent out describes how Pro ...more

Kcac I think you have to own all your shares at the transaction date, so I think they're technically tendered.  I don't think you'll be able to sell them for a few days while the deal gets processed, but I've never taken one of these when I've been offered, tender everything, your never know and this one is at a good premium
