I think they will probably start looking into split for ffn when we are close to combined nav greater than 20-21 and still maintaining the discount.

Yes, I’m not sure why FFN hasn’t implemented the split, as it’s proven to be a successful strategy for FTN. I sold some FTN today and bought more FFN.

5 year high
5 year high taken out, making a run to the 10 year high. Very happy holding here, dividend still healthy and far above threshold right now. I aplaud anyone who bought in here late 2023 at the lows

FFN unit nav to Dec 5 = approx; $19.76
Spreadsheet only showing a gain of 30 cents since NOV 28 and well below what the dashboard has. Not sure where we differ.

So my spreadsheet is showing only a gain of 35 cents since the updated number to Nov 28 .. which was $19.46, GS and GWO both have gone exdividend since NOV 28th.. Value of the

Outright dividend matters for few yes, so there may be some selling pressure on pref. But bear in mind, that the rate is dropping alongside lower funding rates in the market, triggered by lower base

I do believe they closed at 1pm ET.. so already done for the day. CAD financial holdings in the fund are doing well. BUT USD falling vs CAD..

What happens in December is that the preferreds for that month are paid less in early January, so the fund is not paying out as much in distributions. That makes it a little less

according to your calculations FFN should have at least another 1$ in valuation. as i am a newer investor in FFN BACK WHEN IT WAS A LITTLE OVER 7$ AND SOLD AT 8.05 AND NOW BACKIN AT 8.19 WHAT FACTORS

I see the distribution is dropping from .07292 , down to .0625. SO i would imagine the big premium on the FFN.pr.a will disappear, and trade a lot closer to 10$ . I do believe some investors

FFN unit nav realtime @ 11:30 am et = approx. $19.42 post-d
So after distributions, ( on exdivvy day) the value of the commons would be $9.42 , and with the last trade @ $8.44 the discount is 98 cents. or about 10.4%
