Hmmm , i suppose that makes sense as far as the day it happens.... if  no bookkeeping was required on what the shares were when submitted for retraction.

Retrations are offered at 95% of NAV.  5% pays the cost and managers as their future fees are lost.  There is no impact to NAV.  Cash goes out at 100% of NAV.  If they do not have ...more

When i look at the update, 15% cash is INCLUDED IN the UNIT NAV... if they use 20 million $ to pay out the retraction,, it will drop the nav when the cash disapppears. There will be less shares out ...more

I don't understand why you think using cash will drop nav. Also if they have to sell some holdings to fund the retraction so what. They have had a month  to decide what and how to execute ...more

15% i think will cover the retractions.. but it will drop the NAV as there wil no longer be the same cash %. AND they do STILL have to deal with evening up the common and preferred levels. Buying back ...more

Cash on hand has increased so perhaps they were preparing for redactions to some degree, I hope it can cover the majority of it.

No way to know exactly, if 10% retract could be 20 cents and/or cash in hand may get er done.. with collected dividends and  the 15% cash they reported at OCt. 31 > so a lot depends also where ...more

I'm new to split funds and wanting to understand this whole retraction thing...so I'm assuming no matter what the nav will drop, just not sure how far? My avg is 6.15 any advice from anyone ?

After the retraction NAV is going to come down to par with the market price.  FFN market price might go down below the NAV!  So Don't sell FFN, buy more will that work?  We do ...more
