US banks in a good place?

Latest reports  were a mix of bad and good. GS today saw nice bump ona good report. BUT this report is a good read.

US banks doing exceedingly well today: BAC 4.27%, WFC 2,56%, ETC. NAV of FFN up 1.45% as of 11:37 Probability of next US rate cut in September seen at 100% by traders

Yeah and why? Is it the election year , and now both sides want the faith in the US banking system to be upheld.  Q reports were nothing to write home about by most accounts.
