I agree. I think FFN.PR.A and FTN.PR.A are about as safe an investment one can make at a extremely good dividend rate Regards Alder

The Preferred shares are mostly all trading above their nav, there must be a huge demand.  In the past I've been stung by how fast class A can drop. I have my entire margin ready for my shopping list.  BK at $5, FTN at $2, and DGS at $1.50

Yield is going to drop a bit on the preferreds, so might see them pullback a bit.
