Time to trim the fat and lower prices

Noone denies that 7acres produces good weed. But the company's product is way over-priced and much of that has to do with a very top-heavy management team.

FIRE recently added two more executives at a time when they should be slashing executive positions to bring costs in line with shrinking revenues.

I've purchased more than $1,000 worth of 7acres weed. But now I'm at the end of my rope with FIRE product until the company slashes costs to lower consumer prices.

Weed smokers deserve a better shake (pun intended).

the day they say they cant sell all they produce... not counting being withheld for other purchases.. thats when price should come down.. until then get a thousand per gram.. all the power to them jmho

The current management team size will be the same when they are producing double or triple of what their current output is today. Wait until the facility is at full production capacity, and leveraging full efficiencies, then evaluate the margin that will enable a price reduction. As Vulcan mentioned, if they can sell 100% of what they produce at the current price, there is no incentive to lower ...more

Let me be more clear. While I have been a loyal 7acres customer, I plan to switch my allegiance back to Broken Coast. And if Aphria can scale the Broken Coast genetics, they will lower prices and put pressure on every other producer of premium weed to do the same. As for management, I believe FIRE could easily cut or downgrade the positions of half of its executive ranks. The single malt scotch ...more

:D You purchased "more than $1000 worth" ...possibly because 7Acres products offer a higher end experience? Do you prefer 7Acres over other products that are only a bit cheaper? I do. Supreme product is not much more expensive than a lot of really shitty LP weed out there. Not to forget about government taxes shipping and red tape systems across provinces, states and in other countries. ...more
