If someone wanted to buy a company it would be in their best interest to keep the share price at a low level for as long as possible so that people would accept a lower offer in the end.

You may be right there smoking81.  Big question is however, where would the opening bid be made at?  And how soon?  I'm sure if someone was seriously looking at this play they would want to get their ducks in a row well before the end of the year when there is a strong lieklyhood that FIU will begin to show a profit. And the share proce begins to show it's upward worth.JMHO

I've thought about this Leftmike...I would expect a bid to be made over 0.60, and under 1.10. My reasoning for this is simply no bid would come in under Anglo's entry point, or over the financing that occurred around a buck given the current economic market. BUT FIU would never accept a bid under 1.00 if they were expecting to be profitable in February, so if this a realistic possibility ...more
