FIU trading like a U stock

FIU is moving higher with U sector & trades like a U stock even when it is more of a gold producer. The management never added the word gold to the name.

For the last few days there is someone who had a account with TD & put a market order early in the morning  to buy 100000 shares of FIU. Then just  few minutes before the open he cancels the order. What is with this guy what is he trying to achieve by doing this everyday.
