NWT opportunities

While things not as rosy here in the NWT as in the Yukon in terms of development and growth as the NWT faces the closure of its diamond mines not to far in the future .....but new mines will be in play and some sooner than others.....and yhe conferance board knows it...

" Economic growth in the N.W.T. is limited due to the expected closures of two of its three operating diamond mines, Gahcho Ku and Diavik. But the Conference Board of Canada reports that the development of up to three new mines this decade could partially offset these closures."

we would be foolish to think that the Nico deposit is not one of the three mines referred to above. Both the GNWT and The Tlicho have tasted the money and can see the writing on the wall with the existing diamond mines ....do not sit back for a second and think they do not want the development of this Nico deposit ....in fact it's needed and will do everything necessary to aid in its development.

FT built a cobalt mine via a winter road access 25 yrs ago with two underground levels and ventilation. Quite an achievement joined to a grand vision. At that time TESLA was barely a glimmer in Elon Musk's eye.  ...more
