Big Drop

This definately looks like results, and more importantly the MD&A have been leaked.  Glad I stayed on the sidelines for this one...

4,014,000 shares traded by Anonymous on the Venture. At least another 500,000 on the Alpha by Anonymous. Same person.  Almost 70% of the volume today. Can't read anything into it when one seller dominates the trading. Not smart trading to wait this long to sell and taking a large loss. Either you are in it for the long-term due to the nature of the business ...more

I don't share your optimism until I see that MD&A. There could be a good reason why this person chose to not stay in it for the long-term. But we will find out soon enough and hopefully its just one investor's bad mistake.   I wonder if it could be Mark's shares. If he's leaving maybe he's dumping his equity stake in the company.

Maybe it's the competition like Air Miles which is scaring shareholders. And all the resellers in the US who had auto dealerships signed on 10 years ago.   Some may have thought that Futura had the car sales category all to themselves in Canada and the US. For a while I had the same impression. The last news release, read the wording. No wonder some sold.

Well let's hope Anonymous doesn't know something we don't.  Who sells 4 million shares just a few days before quarterly numbers are released, especially when the sp is almost as low as it can go...  Insider trading is the scourge of stock markets everywhere, both up and down.  Just not fair to us bit players.

For those who believe in cycles, being at 1 cent was a prelude to the stock rising soon after. One question is, why such cycles exist? Sept-Oct 2009 and Sept -Dec 2010 for example, were 1 cent months. And despite this, the company continues to grow and is making good progress.
