Comparable Mines?

Does anyone have any insight as to similar mines currently operating which look like what GenM proposes to be in 2 years or so? It's preferable to look at a Canadian mine over other jurisdictions to understand geopolitical/geographic aspects. So is one of the BC mines currently in operation at all comparable? Knowing that GenM is going to output concentrate, how does their projected output stack up against other companies that in operation? How about the scale of them compared to existing mines putting out concentrate?

For example anyone care to muse about how a company like Taseko stacks up in scope, output etc? They once traded at 8 dollars, are currently at 2.3. I'm going to assume some of that is because there is a law of diminishing returns once a resource operation has been in operation over time.

Since GenM is a junior, I realize it's a lot of spazz math and pure speculation, but when you're a kid you look at how tall your siblings and cousins are :)

I'm frankly astonished that the VW battery news today and all the news flap about critical minerals/batteries/green/transfer from fossil fuel etc etc etc has not illuminated GenM with more attention.

Any humans perhaps with investing and/or historical insight and/or personal experience got thoughts about comparable Canadian mines?

Wigit, let's start with what I posted and go from there. Saved everyone the leg work. The best example of a Pd mine is Lac des Iles in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

"Save others" the legwork? and go from there?  Effectively you're suggesting that the line of inquiry has been adequately answered and shutting it down.  I prefer you wouldn't dissuade others from fielding my question, AGTCTTWW. While I thank you for taking the time to pose that question to an AI and copt and paste the answer it gave you, I find the chatGBT answer ...more

That was never my intent, Wigit.   I know you dismiss the AI response, but I found it quite informative and a good launch point for discussion.   There are only a handful of copper/palladium focussed mines, so this comparison is difficult.  Most Pd comes as a bi-product of nickel mining. 1. Norilsk, no comparison to Marathon.  Nickel, lots of nickel. 2. Polymet ...more
