Today’s low platinum and palladium prices are just temporary

If todays low, platinum and palladium prices stick around much longer, next year's mined production of platinum and palladium will probably drop at least 1,000,000 ounces each. Unprofitable PGM's mines will have to cut back. Sibanye Stillwater lists on their home page they're all in costs at their South African PGM mines is $1267 per oz. For their basket of PGM's (Platinum, Palladium, and rhodium). I assume other South African, PGM's mines run about the same cost. To save money all those mines and others around the world, will have to cut production or close down temporarily until prices come back.
