They raised the money for Copper Mountain, they want to strip overburden and optimize the mill.

I reviewed some old techn reports for Copper Mountain pre HBM, suggesting a 65ktonn operation and over 1 billion tonne reserve, just wondering if this is the goal, capitalized overburden stripping that is currently planned only about 250 million over 2 years, definitely they are going to accelerate this to this year and next was to be 20252026

I recall HBM saying that it was not a feasible goal. It might have been one of the quarterly calls this came up.

That could very well be the case but I think that is dependant on expected Cu price..In any case they expect in next year or so to be at 50kt per day with overburden removal completed

They don't need 550 million Canadian for that..they had almost 300 million in existing cash plus expected cash flow this year would more then cover that. Maybe just to retire debt and get ready for Copper World
