HMAX nearing its low (14.09) since starting  have dry powder looking for a home  June Dividend announcement is due tonight or Monday

They did clip the divvy a little from .0185 to .018.  However good to see that the banks did increase their divys on their recent earnings reports.

May Distribution?

Usually by this time of the month, Hamilton would have announced the monthly dividend for its funds. I didn't see anything on Friday and I was hoping today -- after the long weekend -- they would. ...more

The yield on this ETF is NOT eye popping really. If you read their prospectus, they state that their target for the yield is 13%. Currently its yielding higher as the share price came down from the ...more

Bank turmoil in U.S. is driving down shareprices of Canadian banks. HMAX is likely to set a new low in the short term. Might pick up a few on this weakness...but not yet. Yield is eyepopping...and ...more

You are right very risky, most are dividend traps in which the stock price steadily falls.

I have spread some money among a few of these (HMAX, ENCC, EIT, TXF, HHL). So far they seem okay...but some are so new they will bare watching. I did hold some HYLD but that one turned ugly and now ...more
