Hopefully folks won't be disappointed with about a 2 cents a month CDN dividend starting in March 2022. Based on that we have about a 5% yield going forward. Looks like they want to keep that payout ratio at a very healthy level to protect from any more shocks to the economy and travel.

Good job apollo. The management is very sensible. They beat my expectationby half a penny. I was thinking the board will do one penny per month as a token distribution but it is 50% more than I expected. I agree that caution is necessary. COVID is very tricky. It may comeback in many unexpected ways. Since this is an income trust, any surplus will be distributed in the future anyway.

There will always be a few overly optimistic buyers who will crowd in at the open mis thinking that the stock is going to run and drive the price up in the ...more

I was wrong many times to predict stock movement. Hot.un follow mostly Dow Jones US Hotel & Lodging REIT Index and affect by the analysts upgrade.

Based on results and Divy, we all agree that SP will open higher. But, I think SP could go even higher after the Call... HOT.UN is delivering their objectives - AHIP’s longterm objectives are to:   (i) increase the value of its hotel properties through operating excellence, active asset management and investing in valueadded capital expenditures (ii) expand its hotel ...more
