Getting Ready To Explode

If the predictions are even close to being correct then $4.65 lb looks awfully cheap. IVN is going to make some heavy coin and that will make us all some heavy coin in our pockets.
You just cannot have this EV/Green/electrification movement without COPPER. IVN is coming on line at the perfect time and they are going to turn on the heat with more and more phases coming on line. If other majors are going to be struggling because of reserve and grade issues then when IVN announces the WF drill results and more tier 1 mines that could be built then we are going to hit our stride with the SP. We will most likely have a bidding war for WF partnerships or a super bidding war for IVN as a whole. Whats that worth??? 50 billion may be a very cheap offer.
When you buy IVN as a whole you get Platreef, Kipishi, KK plus all the reserves PLUS everything related to WF. RF has said that there are many KK's on the WF property.
RF is turning up the heat as IVN has increased the drilling dollars for WF with the possibility of even adding more dollars to this drilling on the WF property.
Wake up and smell the copper folks!!

I keep thinking about the Voisy Bay story.  But I think this time around the material in the ground at WF will be auctioned off via NFT's non fungible tokens pre-selling a royalty or right on the copper in the ground. I think this because of the hints dropped by Josh Crumb in his latest interview on Smarter Market podcast and RFs involvement in Abaxx Technologies.

RF isn't in a hurry and has a plan. He looks to be in good health and that's good for us

You know I like this story for all the right reasons. I believe RF is in a giant hurry to bring out as much value as he can before the stand still agreements come due. The MORE value he can prove to everyone out there the higher the buyout price will be. Don't get fooled ........................ he is in a giant hurry!! Just look how fast everything is moving forward............Warp Speed is ...more

When do these "Stand Still Agreements" come due?  Are these agreements in the Sedar disclosure?
Comment by crow27 on May 16, 2021 9:50pm
April 25/19.  Here is one of them, CITIC Metal, currently Ivanhoe Mines' largest shareholder with a 19.3% ownership stake, will come to own 29.9% of Ivanhoe's issued and outstanding common shares when the placement is completed. Mr. Friedland will remain Ivanhoe's second-largest shareholder.  CITIC Metal and Mr. Friedland are subject to standstill provisions. When the ...more

CITIC Metal Africa and Zijin Mining each have signed standstill agreements with Ivanhoe Mines. The standstills are intended to provide sufficient time to bring the Kakula Mine to production, and to advance subsequent, planned expansions at Kamoa-Kakula, and production at the Kipushi and Platreef projects. Ivanhoe's entire shareholder base will benefit from the economic growth and significant ...more

CITIC is a TRILLION dollar company so for them to offer $40.00 a share is nothing. Remember they own roughly 26% already so they save alot of dollars right there. If they team up with Zijin then it spreads the cost out. I have no idea how or what a buyout would look like but it ain't gonna be cheap. If they try and lowball then someone else will enter the ring. It has to be fair and RF/CITIC ...more

True. What I want to see is the first quarterly report with numbers after production starts. Let me rephrase: what i really want to see is the market's reaction once these reports/numbers start to come out. That is the biggest impetus behind trading. A contract with a buyer (for copper) would also push the price although I think that deal is already made...

I agree.. In the meantime I just keep trying to pick up a little more hear and there when it dips and hopefully have have a little cash available to catch those dips. Looking forward to see where this price is in a year from now. hopefully double what it is now.

And this is why no western institution is likely to touch IVN. This is what prevents us from seeing another Voisy Bay story. Having said that, the Chinese will not take over IVN until its full value is unlocked, I.e. WF AND Platreef are as developed as KK today, but rather in production as well. Time will tell. RF knows what he is doing. Let's hope he remains in good health for years, even ...more

This kind of a deal/partnership is relatively unorthodox. Everyone is treading water very carefully. Share price will definitely climb but at a much slower pace. It will be very informative to watch the next 18 months. It will tell you a lot about the international sentiment amidst the then current financial circumstances on the market.

I'm waiting for the trading day of 20-30 million shares with 15% SP jump . Signal of a new era of modern copper mining. likely in July.
Comment by coocoology on May 16, 2021 7:36pm
Does this mean that you're bullish on IVN? A few more CAPS might signal your position better...like TOP does  :/
