Anybody remember when that kicks in.

Apparently it's being held up because the DRC is consulting with Revenue Canada (the recognised World Authority re supertaxation) on how to best implement the tax. BBBBBWWWWHHHHHAAAA

I don't think this clears it up but here it is any way. Box 2 : Special tax on excess profits of Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a special tax on excess profits was introduced in 2018 as part of the major reform of the Mining Act.
