Who is buying?

Is someone buying because they believe the controlling entity is on the ropes with all you have pointed out and therefore ready to give up control instead of facing the scrutiny of courts?

Who is buying? The general public that follow junior mining companies and understand supply and demand. The basics of economics. Price of potash has risen so will the price of potash stocks and because of that so has interest in the stock. KRN has a small deposit in the grand scheme of things and was very very overpriced way back when. Now its come down to good old economics. Cost of developping a ...more

Sg, with all due respect, supply and demand is a metric for those currently producing.  Other than speculation for trading, non producers years away from production are irrelevant in that supply and demand equation. Current Management and the Board have been left with a huge mess that will take time to get through in order to formulate a business plan. Karnalyte Resources is a billion ...more

Problem being T33, the founder who originally started this company based on the magnesium potential is sitting at home with I assume an ongoing 3 year old lawsuit on his desk compliments of previous individuals at Krn. Might be time for the current board to entertain the thought of reaching out to Mr Phinney in an effort to press the reset button in the best interests of the company, as he ...more

Hi Dan, prety sure the share price can be explained by Occam's Razor. Potash prices are up and getting into the limelight, so the naive noobs are playing hot potato with the stock. You saw an influx of this type on here already. The arguments they bring out are true; KRN's enterprise value is vastly outweighed by the value of the natural resource it sits on. However, this is nothing more ...more

pp, it is really unfortunate that things have gotten to the point they are now, as it might be an uphill climb to become relevant once again. To do that though I really believe all the lawsuits need to be put behind the corporation in order to move forward, and everyone involved somehow has to find common ground. A fresh start is needed more now than ever. .......... As I mentioned in an ...more

Supply and Demand works with junior stocks as well.  Not in the traditional sense where you have a product and where the supply and demand rules come into play. With junior mining stocks, if the commodity (in this case potash) is going through the roof than the junior mining companies start to look good as everyone thinks they will be the next to develop a mine. Within the community of ...more

Really hard to say T33 The more we learn through insider affidavits, the less it appears GSFC was the root cause of problems since 2018, as previous managements quest for a nitrogen project fever appeared to completely take over at any cost, defying logic in many instances. From what I can see, GSFC's reps especially Mr Varma recognized problems with cost over runs in the preliminary ...more
