Any insights here

Banks and lifecos are both up since the last update and yet LBS limped into ex-div despite a reasonable valuation.

I suspect some are factoring in the higher payouts to preferreds coming up for LBS.  However most of the Quadravest preferreds have a higher %yield than what Brompton set LBS preferreds at.
