heyStupid,
There are Two stories here. A West Side Story and an East Side Story.
LSG has giant roles in each.
First - The West Side
The Lake Shore Bell Creek mill is running at 3400 tpd but is built for 5500 tpd.
I can see Goldcorp doubling that output to 11,000 tpd.
(That is what the Goldcorp Porcupine mill is running at. They excel at big mills.)
Now ore can come from the 144 gap zone and maybe the Goldcorp Borden Gold Project?
You would be looking at 500,000 oz per year.
The East Side Story
Primero has exhausted the Black Fox open pit. The Black Fox mill is built for 2500 tpd but is
only running at 600 tpd for the underground.
Fenn-Gib(2 million oz) is next to the Black Fox mill.
Moneta has the Golden Highway project (4.5 million oz) right below Fenn-Gib.
Why is Moneta stock hitting a 52 week high when gold just bounced from a 52 week low?
The last 3 weeks show big volume for Monetta. More speculation...
I don't know how this turns out but Lake Shore Gold is right in the middle of 2 big plays.
