In theory, the value of diamonds (other things being equal) go as the square of the weight. On this basis, $53M for Lesedi @1100 cts could equate to (2500/1100)^2 x 53M = $274M Just sayin'

Does this find up the probability of finding
more diamonds of this size in the general area of the mine ? I know nothing about finding such large diamonds .
