Owning both is a good idea. MEG is a flyer more likely to be taken out by a U.S. major ... expect volatility ... Cenovus was also vacillating because Connoci Phillips was selling its 90 million shares ... it looks like the selling is done and Cenovus is now buying back its own shares ... who knows, maybe CVE buys MEG ... in any event, patients is in order ... the market couldn't care less what ...more

CVE buying back their shares. COP probably done selling CVE shares. MEG not buying back shares yet. Those repurchases will start soon and the price will not be subject so much to the day to day fluctuation in price of oil.
